Before logging in, you need to install MetaMask. Here’s how:

1. For Browser Extension:

   • Visit the MetaMask website.

   • Click on the “Download” button.

   • Choose your preferred browser (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, or Edge).

   • Follow the prompts to add the MetaMask extension to your browser.

2. For Mobile App:

   • Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

   • Search for “MetaMask” and download the app.

   • Open the app and follow the setup instructions.

Creating a MetaMask Account

1. Open MetaMask: Click on the MetaMask icon in your browser or open the mobile app.

2. Get Started: Click on “Get Started” and then “Create a Wallet.”

3. Set Up a Password: Choose a strong password for your wallet.

4. Secure Your Wallet: MetaMask will provide you with a Secret Recovery Phrase (also known as a seed phrase). Write this down and store it in a secure place. Do not share this phrase with anyone.

5. Confirm Your Recovery Phrase: Verify your Secret Recovery Phrase by selecting the words in the correct order.

6. Complete Setup: Once confirmed, your MetaMask wallet is ready to use.

Logging into MetaMask

Browser Extension

1. Open Your Browser: Launch the browser where the MetaMask extension is installed.

2. Click the MetaMask Icon: Located in the toolbar.

3. Enter Your Password: Type in the password you created during setup.

4. Unlock: Click “Unlock” to access your wallet.

Mobile App

1. Open the MetaMask App: Launch the app on your mobile device.

2. Enter Your Password: Type in your password.

3. Login: Tap “Login” to access your wallet.

Security Tips

• Keep Your Recovery Phrase Safe: Store it offline in a secure location.

• Use a Strong Password: Avoid using easily guessable passwords.

• Beware of Phishing: Only enter your recovery phrase on the official MetaMask app or extension. Be cautious of phishing attempts that mimic MetaMask.

1. Forgot Password: Use your Secret Recovery Phrase to restore your wallet.
